Oasis Wild Life Fuerteventura is a zoo and botanical garden with more than 780.000 m². This park is located in the region of La Lajita, in the municipality of Pájara, in the south of the island of Fuerteventura. From our hotel it will take you approximately one hour and a quarter to get there. The park offers a free shuttle bus. It is well worth the trip especially if you are travelling with family or kids. It is a unique experience. At Oasis Wild Life you can also participate in various activities, book close encounters with the animals or enjoy some local cuisine in the park's restaurant.
One of the quintessential activities on holiday is to take the time to go shopping... Very close to our hotel you will find the El Campanario Shopping Centre. The ideal family day out. Acua Water Park Corralejo is located close to our hotel. It is only a few minutes away by car or just over 10 minutes on foot. It is the only water park on the island of Fuerteventura, it has more than 25,000 m2 of water fun and14 attractions. Guaranteed fun for the whole family.
A few kilometres from the coast, between Fuerteventura and Lanzarote, emerges this wonderful island. Visiting the island is a must if you come to spend your holidays on Fuerteventura. Even more so if you stay at our hotel, from where you can enjoy the views of this spectacular island in the Atlantic. This jewel of nature, which is part of the Natural Park of the Dunes of Corralejo, stands out for its moving dunes and fossils that end up on it's incomparable deserted beach where you can go for a refreshing dive in the ocean. The island is a protected nature reserve. Signposted paths will take you through volcanic craters and salt marches. Despite being a desert, it has more than 130 plant species, including several endemic ones, and a large number of birds. The very photogenic old little harbour with it's small wooden walkway has become an Instagram hit.
The island of Lanzarote is another of the islands that make up the Canary archipelago and is located to the north of Fuerteventura. There is a ferry that connects both islands from the Port of Corralejo in Fuerteventura to the Port of Playa Blanca in Lanzarote. If you are coming for several days, we recommend that you spend one of those days visiting this spectacular neighbouring island - you will be surprised how different the island is to Fuertevetura. They are situated so close to each other, yet they are so different.
Highly recommended is a visit to the neighbouring island of Lanzarote and especially the Timanfaya Natural Park. As a guest in our hotel Lanzarote is easily reached by ferry. The crossing takes 20/30 minutes. Lanzarote’s landscapes are as imposing as they are unique. Part of this charm is due to the Parque Nacional de Timanfaya, which is the only national park in the Spanish network that is of an eminently geological nature, since it is the result of the volcanic eruptions that took place between 1720 and 1736, and in 1824.The absence of vegetation, the extreme ruggedness of the terrain, the variety of colours, the silhouettes of the volcanoes and the jagged coastline – all these make Timanfaya extraordinarily beautiful. If you love nature, this excursion should be high on your to do list.
